According to Wikipedia a “mystery hill,” also known as a “magnetic hill” or a “gravity hill,” is a road where the surroundings are laid out in such a way that a slight downhill slope appears as an uphill slope. In other words, it’s a bit of an optical illusion.

Unfortunately, no one has ever posted video of this gravity hill “in action,” but here’s an example of one in Pennsylvania. As you can see, it’s very bizarre.
