Getaways and vacations have advanced in so many ways since Airbnb came onto the scene in 2008. And in just 13 short years, the world has been granted access to a wealth of wonderful, private homes, condos, and apartments that provide incredible places to call our home away from home when traveling. One of them is a waterfall getaway here in South Carolina that is like nothing you’ve ever seen before…
Situated on the Georgia border on 90 private acres outside Westminster, South Carolina, is a contemporary home that juts straight out from the side of a mountain.
Inside, is a warm and cozy space with clean lines, and a natural, rustic vibe. Many of the home's exterior walls are composed of sheets of glass — perfect for admiring the dazzling scenery that hugs the dwelling like a pair of warm, welcoming arms.
Back inside the waterfall house, the scenery is equally captivating. The architect went all-out on the interior accents, including natural wood, free-flowing spaces, and glass walls that make it seem you're actually out of doors as much as you are in.
A covered outside deck facing Longnose Falls is a perfect spot for morning coffee or to have a meal while listening to the soothing sounds of the water crashing over the falls and into the plunge pool below.
The house features two bedrooms and one bath and can sleep up to four guests.
It also has a washer and dryer, air conditioning, heat, an indoor fireplace, towels and bed linens, BBQ grill, and more. (Full list is provided on the Airbnb listing page.)
