With the Summer winding to close we thought what better way to keep it alive a bit longer (all year, actually) than by featuring a restaurant where it feels like summer all year long? Even though the wooden boulevard attached to the Pier House (we mean, of course, the 2nd Avenue Pier) closes the for the winter season, the Pier House is open daily.

We couldn't think of a better spot for it to feel like summer all year long, than in a restaurant over the sand, with stunning views of the ocean.

The 2nd Ave Pier itself opened in 1936 and doles out hours and hours of family fun to people from all over the world. It's also the southern anchor for the miles-long Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
It is an ideal spot to keep the spirit of the carefree season going long after the steamy days of summer are well past. At the Pier House, every table has forever views of the Atlantic.
