She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). There are a variety of great trails in South Carolina. We’ve got wonderful wooded hikes, lake loops, and plenty more waiting for you. But there’s something special about a waterfall hike. Whether you’re looking to take a dip in a natural swimming hole to escape rising temperatures on a hot day or just want to enjoy the peace of watching the water cascading down rocks, there’s not much that can beat a day at a waterfall in the Palmetto State. One of our favorite waterfall hikes in South Carolina is the Carrick Creek Loop in Table Rock State Park. This two-mile hike will lead you straight to a gorgeous natural pool that’s fed by a waterfall you can swim under!
