Drive-ins from the 50s and 60s are becoming a thing of the past but not in North Augusta, where you’ll find an iconic landmark that opened in 1964 when the town had a mere 1,000 residents. Today, now located in a bustling bedroom community of more than 20,000 residents, the Sno-Cap Drive-In is out of the way for most South Carolinians – but definitely worth the drive.
The locals have been a fan of the Sno-Cap for more than a few generations. The young and old alike still root for the Sno-Cap Drive-In.
Especially since it got a recent makeover! A fantastic new mural painted on the side of the building is stirring up excitement on social media, where the locals are joining the dance portrayed on the wall!
