Can you remember the first time you heard a train whistle and then saw the big locomotive coming down the tracks? It seems like every kid has a train phase but no one said you had to grow out of it. If you were a train enthusiast you’ll love reliving childhood memories when you take your family for a ride on the Heritage Park Railway in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
The Heritage Park Railway is currently running on Saturdays from 10 AM until 6 PM and Sundays from 1 PM until 6 PM, weather permitting. Admission is $2 and children under two can ride for free with an adult. Visit their Facebook page for up-to-date information about the train’s operation.
