Journey on the Lee Falls hiking trail to find a beautiful double waterfall. Twice the falls, all in one hike! Grab your good hiking shoes and a sturdy stick, and get to planning your next outdoor adventure. Mark down Lee Falls Trail for a future day out in nature. It will be here whenever you get to it, after all.
The adventure on the menu for the day takes us to Oconee State Park and a little hike on Lee Falls Trail. This trail will take you to a beautiful double waterfall on an easier hike than other double waterfall options in South Carolina.
Starting off inconspicuous, not many would suspect just how big the falls are that await you. For a while, the trail looks like open fields that lead into the forest.
On a beautiful day after a recent rain, the water flows quickly over the top half, hitting the bottom and cascading through the rocks as it breaks into different streams of water. Just by watching the water flow, time passes easily.
This trail might not be an officially designated forest service trail, but it sure is beautiful. Enjoy the double falls; bring any trash back with you that you take, and enjoy yourselves. Hike safely!
