South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
Did you ever wonder while watching the Jurassic movies what it would be like to encounter a dinosaur in person? On the one hand, it would be amazing if it was a calm, sweet-natured dinosaur like a brontosaurus, for example. Did you know its fossil was first discovered in western North America? Can you imagine finding fossils in South Carolina from a dinosaur?! While that may seem like an out-of-reach experience, you can attend a Jurassic World Live Tour in South Carolina! If you’re wondering if you read that right, let us assure you that you did!
Your opportunity to experience a face-to-face encounter with a life-size dinosaur is here! Jurassic World comes to life in an action-packed live arena show at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville on Friday, February 10 (7 p.m.), Saturday, February 11 (11 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m.), and Sunday, February 12 (11 a.m., 3 p.m.).
During this show, you're on a trip to Isla Nublar, which ends up taking a terrifying, unexpected turn when Indominus rex escapes, causing chaos in the park!
Watch as a team of scientists unravel a corrupt plan and save Jeanie, a Troodon dinosaur, from a terrible fate. Along the way, you will get to experience some of Jurassic World’s most iconic dinosaurs including Blue the Raptor, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex! Eeeeekkkk!!
You're going to see some very familiar looking scenes during this show, but it is an original story that brings human and dinosaur characters together in an all-new production that is so realistic!
The Jurassic World Live Tour was created with fans of all ages in mind; however, parents are always best suited to determine what is age appropriate for their children. The show does feature special effects, including strobe lights and a safe theatrical fog, along with the wonder and thrills that the Jurassic World brand is known for.
Kids aged 2 years and up do require a ticket, and those younger than 2 years old may sit on a guardian's lap. Select showtimes may have kids' tickets available for ages 2-12.
There is an exclusive, environmental seating section on the arena floor, which is where you want to be to put yourself and your family in the middle of the adrenaline-pumping adventure! Look for Premium Floor Seats on your ticket purchase page for this special seating.
Cameras are permitted; however, professional photography and videotaping are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the show. Specific camera policies do differ from venue to venue so be sure to check your local venue’s policy for additional details.
