South Carolina's Most Visited State Park Has A Beachside Campground That's The Most Beautiful Around
South Carolina’s most visited state park, Hunting Island State Park located just outside of Beaufort, has sustained quite a bit of damage from storms over the last few years, but the park is back in grand fashion. It’s easy to see why visitors and locals alike remain loyal to this coveted stretch of beach just off the coast. For the most part, the park has bounced back from the major upheavals found in the wake of the various storms. And the campground is among the amenities that you’ll want to check out.
Hunting Island State Park is located at 2555 Sea Island Parkway, Hunting Island, SC 29920. The park and campground are open year-round. Some campsites can accommodate RV’s from 28 – 40 feet. Camping reservations are a must and a two-night minimum is required, unless otherwise stated on the official website for South Carolina State Parks.
