This 2021 Grape Stomping Festival In South Carolina Is One That Should Not Be Missed
Calling all wine lovers… Have you truly lived if you haven’t found yourself barefoot and ankle-deep in a barrel of grapes at a grape stomping festival? We think not. With harvest season upon the South Carolina coast already, there’s a grape stomping festival coming up on Saturday, August 28, 2021 and you won’t want to miss it!

The gates open at 10 a.m. and the family-oriented fun continues all day until 6:00 p.m.

At the festival, you'll have the opportunity to taste test a number of wines made from the grapes grown right here at the vineyard.

Expect a day filled with tastings, live music, activities for the kiddos (including their own grape stomping competition), and of course, wine-a-ritas!

Get ready to peel off your shoes and sink your bare toes in the mushy grapes!

There is a limited number of competition slots so don't wait. Stomping in the adult competition will cost only $10 per person. You'll sign up and pay at the time you purchase festival entry tickets at this link.

Are you kids adventurous enough to get in on the action?

Dress up like Lucille Ball in the famous "I Love Lucy" episode where Lucy was auditioning for a role in an Italian move called, "Bitter Grapes." Ball's character thought she'd be stomping grapes in the movie and decided to learn how to do it.

Deep Water Vineyard has a few other events throughout the year, but the Grape Stomping Festival is always the highlight of the year, so don't miss it.
