There are many fun things to do during the day, including spending some time on the lake. It's one of the best places for fishing in South Carolina and is frequently the location for tournaments.

Another fun daytime experience during your weekend getaway is hiking the nearby Yellow Branch Falls trail in the Sumter National Forest to this beauty of a waterfall. It's 50 feet high and the trail is three miles out-and-back, a moderately challenging hike.
For lunch, check out Keowee Brewing Company in downtown Seneca on East Main Street. You'll have a blast trying beer samples along with a great sandwich or some pizza.
Bonaterra Craft Bar and Scratch Kitchen on Ram Cat Alley, also in downtown Seneca, is a great option for dinner with a creative Latin-inspired menu. For something different, try the avocado fries or blueberry mojito, which are customer favorites.
If you'd like something more classic and traditional, you could have something like chicken fajita soup.
When you're finished exploring or if you just want to stay in at the cabin, it's perfectly appointed with all the necessities. Take some time for a digital detox and to recharge!
The kitchen area includes a mini-fridge and a two-burner stove for preparing any meals you'd like to eat right here at the cabin. There are pots, pans, and dishware for your use as well.
This Getaway Outpost is about 50 minutes from Greenville, a beautiful city full of family-friendly attractions, foodie-friendly dining options, and more.
