Most people who think about South Carolina travel probably think of Myrtle Beach, with its average of almost 20 million visitors each year! It may not necessarily make the list for a weekend trip, as families often take a beach vacation there for a week. Either way, it's yet another spot that offers so much in the way of entertainment that you'd probably never run out of new things to do there either. In fact, if your primary reason for visiting is to enjoy the beach, you may not even have explored much of the other exciting attractions.

Wonder Works is one we'd recommend checking out, where you'll enjoy over 40,000 square feet of interactive fun including hands-on exhibits, simulators, scavenger hunts, a ropes course, an arcade, and more. It's located at Broadway at the Beach, which is a massive shopping and entertainment complex you could further explore when you leave Wonder Works. One of the newer restaurant and entertainment venues there called The Hangout would be a great spot for a bite to eat. You really could spend the entire weekend right here at Broadway at the Beach!

It's probably a safe assumption that most of us who live in South Carolina have been to Charleston at least once. But just like both Greenville and Myrtle Beach, it certainly is not lacking in having an abundance of things to do. Try some of the restaurants you didn't get a chance to visit in the past, take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful streets in the historic district and just take in the scenery without an agenda, per se. Sometimes when we have a strict itinerary in mind, we forget to stop and smell the roses along the way!
