South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
One of the greatest things about living in South Carolina is that beach season lasts longer for us than in other areas of the country. And even when we can’t necessarily be in swimsuits with toes in the sand and playing in the water, the mild weather still allows us to enjoy being at the beach. Some of our beaches have tons of attractions, while others are more scenic and secluded. And although Myrtle Beach is the place to be if you’re looking for the former, there are also plenty of fun things to do in North Myrtle Beach, while a quieter and less crowded experience.
Make it a weekend adventure and stay at North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina, which has even more fun things to do in North Myrtle Beach, including a flow rider wave pool, a rock climbing wall, and more. Have you ever been to any of these attractions at the beach? What’s your favorite type of beach entertainment?
