South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
Eggs Up Grill has experienced explosive growth in recent years after setting a goal in 2019 to reach 100 units by 2022, with 24 units at that time. They hired former TGI Fridays executive Ricky Richardson to help with this ambitious goal and have since expanded to a region-wide presence of 160 Eggs Up Grill units open, under development, or committed to open by local franchise partners. The very first Eggs Up Grill opened in the tiny town of Pawley’s Island, S.C. in 1997 with the modest goal of providing this coastal community with a great place to bond over delicious meals. The restaurant became such a hit that the founder, Chris Skodras, decided to franchise the brand to expand into new markets.
Eggs Up Grill has begun expanding to locations outside of South Carolina and has been recognized as a top food franchise. Have you eaten at an Eggs Up Grill? How about at the original Pawley’s Island location? If you’ve never been to Pawley’s Island, we’d recommend a trip there! Book this beachfront luxury Litchfield condo and enjoy some time in this gorgeous area of the state.
