The first fields of sunflowers at Beechwood Farms in Marietta, South Carolina, are now blooming and the farm has set aside four days over the next two weekends for the public to come and enjoy. Prepare for an overload of cheer as you take full advantage of the four u-pick sunflower sessions.

Scientists have narrowed the reason behind the shift down to the flower naturally turning toward the sun as each side of the stem elongates. When the growing phase is complete, there's no need to turn.

The public hours for visiting Beechwood Farms’ Sunflower Hill are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 25, 30, 31, and August 1, 2020. Buggy rides are $3/person (kids 2 and under are free).
