The island is just big enough to feel secluded from the stresses of everyday life, yet small enough to keep an eye on the little ones in the group. And the campsites are carved right into the natural flora of the island.
As for things to do, swimming is always an option. No lifeguards are on duty, so it's swim at your own risk. Beach shoes are recommended.

The island also comes with a playground, a group shelter with picnic tables, and canoe/kayak access via the natural shoreline.
The island campground is available seasonally from the beginning of April through the end of October each year.

Reservations are available only for Loop A (10 sites, max 100 people, 30 vehicles) or Loop B (22 sites, max 220 people, 66 vehicles), or rent BOTH loops and have the entire place to yourself. The campground is gated and gates are kept closed at all times to assure complete privacy.
