The park also offers year-round youth and family-oriented events, like their annual River Jamboree taking place the first weekend each year in May. If you missed it this year, then the park has kayak and canoe rentals all year so you can get out on the water any time you wish.

Additionally, more than 3.5 miles of hiking trails, including a boardwalk through the forest, are available. You'll also find an archery range and a splash pad, perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.

Lynches River County Park is located at 5094 County Park Rd., Coward, SC 29530. Park hours are 9:00 a.m. to sunset, excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
