South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When someone tells me the dining experience at a particular restaurant was the best they’ve ever had, I’m inclined to chalk it up to any number of factors. It could have been that they happened to have a really great server. Or maybe there was something special about the dish they ordered. But when you’re hearing this over and over again about the same restaurant from multiple people, you know there’s something to it and you’re likely to want to check it out. Such is the case with one of the new restaurants in Charleston, known as Honeysuckle Rose.
This brand new restaurant, Honeysuckle Rose, has been open in downtown Charleston only since September 2023. It's located along Fishburne Street at the Corner of President Street by Harmon Field across from Simmons-Pinckney Middle School.
Dining at this new Charleston restaurant is considered by its earliest guests to be much more than just a meal out. It's an overall unique dining experience based on the tasting menu approach.

The menu rotates seasonally. During your visit, you'll enjoy eight courses paired with hand-selected wines from across the globe.
When making your reservation, you'll be asked a series of questions so the experience can be tailored especially for you. If you have any dietary preferences or are celebrating something special, make sure to mention this during the reservation process.
For non-drinkers, Honeysuckle Rose even offers “zero beve” mocktails curated to perfectly complement each course. This is wonderful news for pregnant guests, those who may be in recovery from addiction, or whatever the reason may be for abstaining from alcohol.
Each seating is three hours in length, with doors opening 15 minutes prior to seating. Dinner begins promptly at the scheduled seating time so you'll need to arrive a few minutes early!
