It's always a great sign when you arrive at an out of the way restaurant and find scores of others who arrived ahead of you already devouring their food. Blue Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Clinton may not be far from Interstate 26, but in the sense of where it's located compared to most of South Carolina, it's a bit out of the way — but oh-so worth the drive.
Nearly everything on the menu can be ordered broiled or fried. (The crab legs are an exception, of course.) Additionally, you can get a regular portion or a large. We suggest a large because the food is super affordable and you'll thank us later for those leftovers in the fridge.
Most folks just know the moment they arrive at Blue Ocean that they're not leaving disappointed (or hungry!). The eatery has been voted Best Seafood Restaurant in the Upstate more than 15 years.
