Charleston’s Festival of Lights is among the top drive-through lights shows in the country, Greenville’s Main Street is among the best places ever to get in the holiday spirit, and Brookgreen Gardens transforms into a magical wonderland of lights each Christmas. All this – and more – make South Carolina a wonderful place to celebrate the season.
But special events aside, the folks at GetCenturyLink turned sorting out the jolliest states in the country at Christmastime into a science and published a list ranking the 50 states based on their Christmas spirit.
And it's a good thing! The NOAA recently released the probabilities of a snow-covered Christmas and, as expected, a good portion of the country is expected to wake up to no snow this Christmas.
