If the pandemic and all the restrictions that come with it have you down, then check out the photos below. We’re missing some of the most beautiful views in the Palmetto State while we stay inside and stay safe during this time. But this won’t last forever, South Carolina, so cheer up and take a peek at some of those gorgeous views in South Carolina that will always be waiting for you:
There's no bad view from anywhere along the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Beaufort's Historic District. Have a seat and watch the the world slow down to a snail's pace.
The prettiest urban waterfall (in our humble opinion) east of the Mississippi is found right here in Greenville. No trip to Greenville would be complete without admiring the views from Liberty Bridge, or park side, down by the water.
The last remaining covered bridge from a bygone era is beautiful and haunting reminder of simpler times in the Palmetto State. Visit this Greenville County Park for an up close look.
Bring a bathing suit and prepare for some old-fashioned fun playing in the fountains at Charleston's Waterfront Park. Pack a picnic and enjoy views of the harbor while you're here!
Recently enclosed by a protective barrier fence, the ruins of Old Sheldon Church (also known as Prince William's Parish Church) are haunting and beautiful. Though you can no longer walk inside the church ruins, you can still stroll among the church grounds and the many centuries-old graves.
Address: Old Sheldon Church Rd, Yemassee, SC 29945
Some places are just worth the wait, so hang in there, South Carolina. These places (and more) will be there waiting for you when travel restrictions are lifted. What other places are on your bucket list once it’s safe to get outside and explore again?
