South Carolina is a great state, the best in fact. No one can deny how wonderful South Carolina is, but I’m going to give you 20 undeniable reasons why everyone loves it here and the ones who live miss it terribly.
Celebrations? Yes, we have them by the bucketfull! From the Dogwood Festival to the Sweet Potato Festival and everything in between.
Sweet and juicy. Cold or with salt. However you serve it up we're at the table when you call us.

It can get a little warm here that's a fact, but we do love the long warm season that we call summer which usually includes the months April through November/December!

No one can deny that we have a lot of nature and it makes for a relaxing atmosphere.
It just doesn't get better than fresh vegetables on your table no matter the time of year. They are easily gotten, affordable, and plain delicious.
There really is nothing more to say here. That picture is worth a 1000 words.
What's better than football? Racing, of course! And, no where does it better than Darlington Raceway.
South Carolina is famous for its slowed down pace of life and there is nothing better than sitting on the back porch watching the stars, sipping iced tea, and talking with family and friends.

South Carolina is without a doubt full of both of these attributes. I'd start with Charleston, SC, the oldest city in the state.
We love to have good time and Broadway at the Beach is the place to start!

We will make a day of the lake a mini-vacation and with as many lakes as we have here in South Carolina there is never one too far away.
