It all started when the flower-loving Keriann met Jeroen Koeman.

He came from a Dutch family of tulip growers. After they got married, they started EcoTulips LLC in Virginia in 2009.
In 2015, the couple moved to Rhode Island and founded Wicked Tulips, and we're very glad they did.

The u-pick tulip season typically attracts thousands of visitors each year. People come from all over The Ocean State and further afield to see, enjoy, and purchase these stunning natural “works of art” that bloom in a multitude of eye-catching hues.
There are over 800,000 bulbs in these fields, planted lovingly with a tractor.

The main field is mixed with more than 100 varieties of tulips, each of which shows at slightly different times. This allows for a longer blooming period congruent with the state's natural landscape.
Typically, visitors can purchase tickets that are good for picking a designated number of tulips.

Each picked tulip after that is priced at a nominal amount. At the end of the spring season, the leftover tulips are lovingly donated to area nursing homes and other local organizations where the people get great enjoyment from these beautiful flowers.
If you can't make it to the tulip farm, you can purchase bulbs in the fall and plant your own pretty tulips.
