Rhode Island Now Has Authentic Peri Peri Cuisine, And It's Exceptional
Peri peri is a hot pepper, grown in Africa, that is a close relative of the tabasco pepper. Most common in Africa and Portugal, these little peppers pack a serious punch… but when they’re utilized property in sauces and spices, the taste is absolutely delightful (if you don’t mind a kick).
Recently, Tribos Peri Peri opened in Providence, so it’s now possible to get authentic Peri Peri cuisine right here in Rhody… and trust us when we say this place is a must.

Since its mid-May opening, it has already enticed quite a few happy Rhode Islanders.

Peri peri cuisine refers to anything topped with the spices or sauce -- and here, the chicken truly steals the show.
