Sip Barn-Brewed Beers At Tilted Barn Brewery In Rhode Island
There’s no denying that Rhode Island’s craft beer scene has come a long way in recent years, and for that we are thankful. And while we’re thrilled by the economy boost it has warranted, we’re even happier that our local beer selection is better than ever. We even have a farm brewery called Tilted Barn that’s open to the public… and even if you’re not a beer drinker, this delightful property is worth visiting.

And it has the bragging rights of being Rhode Island's first and only farm brewery.

The farm has actually been in Kara's family for over 50 years. Kara wanted to keep the family farming tradition alive, but she also wanted to try something new. She and Matt began growing hops in 2007, and after a few years of supplying hops to local homebrewers and breweries, they decided to get into brewing themselves.

Matt is very knowledgeable when it comes to both local farming and farming throughout New England.

Kara and Matt have opened the barn doors to guests from all over Rhode Island and beyond.

Their selection rotates seasonally, so you'll just have to visit multiple times and choose your favorites.

As delicious as the beer is, it's the animals that make a visit truly special.

Private tours can also be arranged ahead of time.
