A day at a Rhode Island state park always promises relaxation and an abundance of natural beauty. Or perhaps it’s the brilliant colors of the season that take our breath away. When you’re mulling over how to spend the day, why not have it include a stop at Snake Den State Park, which boasts some of the best fall foliage in Johnston, Rhode Island?
An undeveloped state park, Snake Den State Park in Johnston beckons visitors with its unblemished beauty all year round.

However, the park takes on a magical aura when the leaves begin their transformation from lush shades of green to magnificent hues of orange, red, and gold.
