As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
If you had a treehouse as a child, you know there’s simply something special about them. And now that you’re an adult, you know there’s also something special about enjoying a meal and a cold one in a unique place. The next time you find yourself near Warwick, check out the Tree House Tavern. Not only is the food incredibly good, but the atmosphere is unforgettable.
The Tree House Tavern is a charming eatery that sits inside a converted farmhouse from the 1820s.
Aline and her son, Michael, started as florists in 1978 and soon expanded to chocolates, cakes, afternoon tea and luncheons. The expansion continued, and now the place is a full-fledged tavern.

Step inside and you'll realize quickly that this is no ordinary place.
Take a walk around the property before you sit down to eat. And when you do sit down, if you're so inclined, order a hand-crafted micro brew -- they serve a lot of those here.
The lunch and dinner menu rotates regularly since ingredients are sourced locally. But it always includes classic burgers, salads, and hearty entrees, plus unique appetizers like BLT deviled eggs (six half eggs, topped with crumble bacon, crispy spinach and spicy sun-dried tomato filling).
When you eat here, always make sure to save room for dessert.
On Tuesday - Friday they're open for lunch and dinner only. And on Saturday and Sunday, you can also enjoy brunch from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Please note that the family goes on a well-deserved vacation every January (get this year’s dates on the website). Other than that, you’ll have the rest of the year to visit as much as possible.
