Salvation Cafe opened in 1993, and it's been serving delicious meals in a unique, imaginative setting ever since. The brightly-colored restaurant has three venues: the cafe, the loft, and the tiki bar. Each serves a special purpose, and you'll instantly fall in love with all three.
If you're in the mood to share in food and conversation, you'll want to try the small plates. Enjoy an inventive menu with everything from sake steamed littleneck clams to arugula pesto flatbread, and more.
For dinner, sip on a glass of wine while savoring entrees like the bistro filet, which is prepared with roasted garlic and wasabi potato puree, pan roasted snow peas, baby carrots and shiitake
mushrooms. This steak will melt in your mouth.
Other favorites include lemon rosemary brick chicken, pan-roasted shrimp and spring vegetables, and braised lamb rigatoni. The ingredients are always fresh, and locally-sourced whenever possible.
You'll certainly want to save room for dessert. The choices vary, depending on what's fresh and delicious, but you'll always find something to tempt you into a few extra calories. They're well worth it!
During warm months, you'll want to dine at the tiki bar. This casual, fun atmosphere can hold up to 75 guests. Have drinks with the girls, or rent the area for a special party.
The loft is a charming place for special occasions such as a birthday party or rehearsal dinner. You'll be enchanted by the soaring, 20-foot ceilings and exposed beams, and you'll want to bask in the natural light here during the day. The loft can accommodate up to 60 guests.
