Riffraff Bookstore and Bar is located on Valley Street in Providence and is co-owned by avid readers Tom Roberge and Emma Ramadan.

Emma studied literature at college in Providence before completing her Master's degree, while Tom served in the Peace Corp and worked in a variety of roles in the book industry before founding Riffraff.
This charming place has been inspired by both independent bookstores and neighborhood bars, welcoming places that contribute to the community.

The book selection is both massive and varied. If you can't find what you're looking for here, just ask a friendly staff member -- it's almost certainly on these shelves.
Of course, this is a year where many of us prefer to be outdoors -- and luckily, Riffraff has a fantastic space for reading and sipping in the sunshine.

This beautiful courtyard is the perfect gathering spot for small groups, although you'll see plenty of solo readers here as well.

Due to current conditions, Riffraff's indoor space is closed, although they are open for outdoor browsing and patio bar service.
