1. Slater Memorial Park, Pawtucket
The Looff Carousel at Slater Memorial Park is one of Rhode Island's true gems. Built in 1895, this amusement is still running strong. Take a spin to bring back those nostalgic memories, but hang on tight, this carousel is one of the fastest Looff ever built. This duck-pin bowling alley was built in the 1920s as a perk for textile mill workers. It was restored and reopened several years ago but still has all of its old-school charm. Keep your score manually on paper, this joint does not have modern day computerized scoring which adds to the experience. Pinboys even reset your lane for you after each toss.
