It’s such a nice feeling to get out in nature and take a good long hike. When you think about Rhode Island, the knowledge that it’s the smallest state might make you believe it’s not the best for hikers, but you would be wrong! There are over 100 unique trails just waiting to be discovered, all with their own special rewards. This particular Rhode Island nature hike will lead you to an absolutely stunning rocky overlook that will make you feel as though you’ve stepped into the windowsill of an old castle at the top of a hill
Tippecansett trail is located in the popular Arcadia management area.
That said, the best views are only about .7 miles into the hike, so if you just want to see a great overlook, you don't have to do the entire length of the trail.
