Whether its mouthwatering BBQ, scrumptious seafood, or traditional Italian, the cuisine here is some of the best in the U.S. If you love sampling the local flavors of talented chefs, then you are going to want to make sure to attend some of these fantastic Rhode Island food festivals
1. India Point BBQ & Blues Festival
Kick off the summer with some down-home BBQ and sultry blues music at India Point Park. The weekend festival takes place on Saturday, June 23rd from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 24th from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. You can visit the

2. Great Chowder Cook-Off
This legendary event in Newport has been drawing in chowder lovers for 37 years. Sample chowders from competitors who will be cooking their hearts out. For the second year, Bacon & Beer Fest will make its way to Providence. 25 local restaurants will present incredible bacon dishes and 25 breweries will provide beer to quench your thirst. 4. St. Mary's Feast
St. Mary's Feast is a five-day celebration including the best Italian food and music around. 5. Pawtucket Greek Festival
Delicious Greek food, energizing dance, and marketplace are just a few reasons to attend the 91st annual Pawtucket Greek Festival. The festivities will begin on Friday, June 17 from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. and continue Saturday, June 18 from 12 p.m. - 10 p.m., and Sunday, June 19 from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. The activities and food can be found outside at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church at 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket, RI 02860. 6. Charlestown Seafood Festival
Enjoy an extravaganza of seafood at the Charlestown Seafood Festival. Lobster, clams, scallops, and so much more are crafted into scrumptious dishes for you to enjoy. 7. Local Food Fest
Local Food Fest celebrates farmers, fisherman, and food growers who supply food to the state. Area chefs will create stunning dishes from these locally sourced ingredients for the dinner of a lifetime. The limited ticket food event will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14th.
