After all of this time cooped up inside, we’ve all probably been thinking about how to get out into nature as much as possible lately. Well luckily, Rhode Island has lots of opportunities to do just that! With beaches, forests, and everything in between, the Ocean State offers countless opportunities to get out and get some fresh air. For a fantastic day out, we really love the Osamequin Nature Trails in Barrington.
This preserve covers 42 acres of stunning, nearly untouched land in Barrington Rhode Island.
The nature trails are located along the West Shore of Barrington River's Hundred Acre Cove, we can't help but wonder if the name has some relation to Winnie The Pooh's Hundred Acre Woods. They are certainly charming enough to be!
Named one of the 50 most important coastal marshes between Long Island and Cape Cod, you can ramble through the nature trails knowing that they will be protected for years to come.
With multiple color coded trails, there are many different ways to explore the Osamequin Nature Trails, each with views of water and various types of wildlife habitat.
