See Rhode Island In A Whole New Way On The Neutaconkanut Hill Park Loop
Life in Rhode Island is beautiful. But considering it’s also the smallest state in the country, it’s safe to assume that once you’ve lived here for a while, you’ve pretty much seen it all. But that’s never true… there’s always a new park, beach, or trail to discover. And when you find the Neutaconkanut Hill Park Loop trail, you’ll see glimpses of Rhody in a whole new way.

The 88-acre recreation area is a hidden gem, despite the fact that it's located in Providence, our largest city.

The lush woodland features ravines, freshwater springs, and several walking trails created in the 1930s by the WPA.

Families love this trail, and dogs are also welcome as long as they stay on their leashes.

Eventually the property was purchased by the Borden family, followed by the King family (until 1892). A family monument still stands on the property, and you'll see plenty of tidbits from the past on the trail.

Stop and take in the views of the downtown Providence skyline and Narragansett Bay. They're visible from several different parts of the loop.
