The Napatree Point Conservation Area, or Napatree as the locals know it, is located in Westerly, near Watch Hill.

This slender, long peninsula is a wildlife preserve and a popular public beach protected by the Watch Hill Conservancy and Fire District.
The main trail at Napatree is a nice, peaceful 3.2 mile loop locals love to walk all year long.

Not only is it considered an easy hike for novices and experienced outdoor enthusiasts alike, but it's packed full of stunning ocean views.
The loop trail takes you all the way around the peninsula, and the path is very well-marked.
