Rhode Island's Newest Brewery Is A Beautiful Place To Spend An Afternoon
It isn’t easy to open a new business during a pandemic, and it’s also not always fun to open one during winter. But Moniker Brewery was a plan two years in the making, and so they managed to do both of those things successfully. Moniker just opened their doors in January — and even if you’re not typically a beer drinker, you just might become one when you spend some time here.

Moniker is co-owned by Bryan Benedict and Jeff Goodno, with Ben Estes serving as the head brewer.

After all, a great beer is only as good as the company with which you share it.

Ben Estes is a longtime professional who started home brewing while in graduate school at SUNY ESF in Syracuse. He formerly worked at Proclamation Ale Company in Warwick as a technical manager, but he's happiest when he's brewing beer.

The beer garden currently has a bit of a ski lounge vibe, but we can't wait to see what it's like in the summer.

If you get hungry, there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, including the delicious Pizza J.

As you can imagine, they reach their limited capacity here pretty quickly. Your online reservation grants you 1.5 hours of brew-filled fun.

Stop by and see what's on tap -- you'll probably have a new favorite place for a brew.
