Rhode Island’s fall foliage season is tragically short, with the colors peaking around mid-October. That being said, it’s definitely not too late to enjoy a stroll through some of our top viewing areas. For and quiet and relaxing afternoon, we highly recommend heading to Lincoln Woods State Park. While you won’t be able to enjoy the beach as much this time of year, the rich autumn hues will more than make up for it.
Check out Lincoln Woods State Park’s stunning fall foliage soon. And if you can’t make it to Lincoln, we’ve got lots of other Rhode Island day trip suggestions.
