Found at 25 Dorrance Street, this city hall is the first of two city halls in Rhode Island to make this list. Workers report the elevators constantly acting as if a ghost is operating them, lights flickering, furniture moving on its own and other horrifying occurrences.
2. Seaview Terrace, Newport
This sprawling Newport Mansion found at 207 Seaview Terrace is so chilling, it was used as the set of the cult classic series Dark Shadows. Visiting this place is sure to be a frightful experience filled with ghost sightings.
3. General Stanton Inn, Charlestown
This centuries-old inn has had dozens of ghost sightings over its history. It can be found in the charming town of Charlestown at 4115 Old Post Road.
4. Warwick City Hall
Warwick City Hall is so spooky it was featured on the show Ghost Hunters. Strange cries, moving furniture, and more make this an eerie place to spend time. Find it at 3275 Post Road in Warwick.
5. School House Road, Warren
Just near the river on School House Road is the site of an alleged colonial murder of settlers. The road, where the heads of the victims were placed on pikes, is said to still be haunted by their ghosts. Only drive down this road if you're searching for a ghostly time.
6. Fort Wetherill, Jamestown
This former Coast Guard artillery fort is not for the faint of heart with various dark and eerie tunnels stretching acres of land. The beautiful granite cliffs on the edges of the fort make for a breathtaking view of Narragansett Bay, but the area is said to be haunted by a mysterious figure of a black dog that follows visitors around. Visit it at 3 Fort Wetherill Road.
7. Cumberland Library, Cumberland
This beautiful old building now houses part of the Cumberland Public Library. Frequent reports of moving objects and changes in temperature occur here and in the surrounding woods. Visit it at 1464 Diamond Hill Road.
