Rhode Island is known as a vibrant foodie destination for so many reasons! Not only is it filled with mouthwatering restaurants ranging from authentic Italian and Mexican and more, it also has some of the most unique places. From elegant contemporary eateries, to quirky mom and pop delis, Little Rhody truly has it all. Though there are many one-of-a-kind restaurants in the state, one place stands out for its unbeatably kitschy theme.
Ogie's Trailer Park stands brilliantly at 1155 Westminster Street in Providence.
This trailer park inspired bar and restaurant stands out as quite possibly the quirkiest and theme dedicated place to dine in state and beyond.
When you first enter Ogie's, you'll immediately see the 1950s style bar and notice the kitschy and often cat-centric decor scattered about.
You'll also hear the names of states being shouted over an intercom. When you order food at the trailer window located at the rear of the restaurant, you're given a small license plate. When your state is called it signals that the delicious comfort food of your dreams is ready to be picked up at the window.
The restaurant is actually said to be named after the owner's very own feline companion and tributes to their furry friend are subtly included in much of the artwork.
Whether you're hoping to have an unforgettable brunch, or munch on late night tator tots with tons of topping options, Ogie's is a great place to spend time in!
