Rhode Island is still home to five fully functional grist mills, which is almost unheard of in present times. Four of them are open to the public, one of which is Kenyon’s Grist Mill. But what some don’t know is that Kenyon’s Grist Mill is home to a somewhat hidden waterfall, and it’s a sight you won’t want to miss.

And not only is it still operational, but the original 1886 grist mill is still used, as are the original granite millstones quarried from Westerly.
