In addition to the lovely lavender, you'll find about 75 farm animals and a beautiful farm stay suite you can rent for overnight accommodations.
There are 4,000 plants from 10 varieties surrounding the custom-made gazebo.

As you can imagine, this is a wonderful place to host a wedding or a private event.
The first hints of lavender tend to pop up in early spring, with the peak bloom happening in late July.

But you can always stop by the onsite farm stand from spring - fall and pick out some lavender treats.
While the farm isn't typically open to the public, you can book a private tour or rent the space for a private event.

But each summer, Lavender Waves Farm hosts a small series of Cut Your Own Lavender events, which are as amazing as they sound.

Things do look a bit different this year. All tickets to the Cut Your Own Lavender event must be purchased in advance, and you'll be given an allotted time slot to enjoy your lavender.
Bring your own scissors and prepare to cut some beautiful bundles.

Tickets are just $20 for adults ($12 for children and free for kids under 3), and that includes the cost of your bundle.
While you're there, make sure you say hello to the adorable farm animals (from a distance).

You can also purchase some farm fresh eggs on your way out.
The final Cut Your Own Lavender Event of the summer will be August 22.
