In the summer, we recommend arriving early to get good parking in the sizable lot. East Matunuck State Beach is so stunning, people tend to rush towards it at the first sign of sun.

The surf here can be intense, which is why this beach can be a favorite of surfers, but don't let that scare you away! Even less confident swimmers can still get their toes wet and enjoy some time on the sand.
