This Drone Footage Of The Abandoned Andrews Mill In Rhode Island Is Haunting
‘Tis the season for haunted houses, spooky stories, and all things eerie. And since Rhode Island is one of the country’s oldest states, there’s definitely a haunted history here. That being said, some of the most haunting things you’ll see in this state have nothing to do with paranormal activity. Check out this incredible drone footage of the abandoned Andrews Mill by Jason Allard and you’ll see what we mean.

The current buildings were constructed in 1918 after the former mill at this site burned down.

There are also a few other newer buildings onsite.

This area has seen industrial uses of some form since at least 1795 when the water power of the river was first utilized. The mill's original water tower still sits in the nearby woods.

The roof was designed to assist i textile manufacturing by allowing more natural light to flow in.

But in 2014, the company that owned the property filed for bankruptcy, and the entire thing was abandoned. Household appliances, office supplies, and other items were all left behind.

The group plans to turn the old mill into an affordable housing complex. But in the meantime, it remains eerily abandoned.
