History whispers from all corners of this charming town that’s home to such fascinating destinations as the Bristol Art Museum, Linden Place Museum, and Mount Hope Farm.
Whether you’re a diehard outdoor lover or not, you must visit Colt State Park, considered a Rhode Island gem, and perfect for a leisurely stroll, to fly a kite, to go boating, or to have a picnic. You’ll also be treated to sensational views.
If you love the water, make your way to Bristol Harbor. There, you can visit the Maritime Welcome Center before guiding your boat, kayak, or other vessel into the water for a day of exploring.
Don’t forget your hiking shoes if you plan to visit The Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center and Aquarium. Set off on a hiking trail, and check out the indoor nature center, home to a beautiful aquarium.
