We don’t mean to brag (or maybe we do, a little) but the state of Rhode Island is ridiculously charming… and when those fall colors spread across the state, it’s downright enchanting. In fact, if you’ve ever been to a small town like Bristol in the middle of autumn, you might wonder if you’ve stumbled onto the set of a Hallmark movie. This quaint little town would be the perfect setting for one.

Bristol is located between the Narragansett and Mt. Hope Bays, about 15 miles north of Newport.

It's a deep water seaport named after Bristol, England that was once home to some of our earliest settlers.
Believe it or not, this is one of the most underrated towns in New England.

Plenty of people visit each year, but many of them are just passing by on the way to Newport or somewhere else more well-known. But Bristol can hold its own when it comes to attractions and charm.
