In Rhode Island, there are plenty of fantastic trails to explore. But that doesn’t mean you have to lace up your hiking boots and spend hours on a trek. This short and sweet boardwalk hike is a leisurely walk suitable for all ages and abilities and unless it’s really hot out, you won’t even break a sweat. Yet despite the little effort, you’ll have to put in, this boardwalk trail still has a big pay-off with the incredible views at the end of the path.

In 2013, The The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island purchased a small parcel of 65 acres in Narragansett. The Whale Rock Preserve protects important habitat for migratory songbirds while giving visitors access to another slice of Rhode Island's stunning shoreline.
