The colonial town of Little Compton, Rhode Island is one of the most beautiful towns in The Ocean State. Visitors can stroll down the beach, sip wine at a vineyard, pick pumpkins at the farm, or walk the nature trails and take in the fall foliage all in one perfect place. In 1659, settlers from the Plymouth came to present day Little Compton and started a new community. At that time there were 29 residents but today Little Compton has a population of around 3,500 people.
Little Compton is a picturesque coastal community. It's especially beautiful in the fall when pops of color show up to highlight the quaint, colonial town. Walk Dundery Brook Trail for the best foliage views.
Their vineyard is just minutes from the coast but surrounded by stunning fall foliage. If you're lucky you may even spot local wildlife running across the property.
