As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Travel has certainly looked different in recent months, and we’re still being advised to stick close to home for the time being. Luckily, when you live in Rhode Island, sticking around is hardly a bad thing. While it may be small in size, there are plenty of places in Rhody to enjoy the ultimate staycation. And we highly recommend checking out Atlantic Beach Hotel for your next getaway.

Atlantic Beach Hotel is located in Middletown, where it sits across the street from a beautiful beach.
And if you have to get some work done while you're here (it happens!), ask the staff about the hotel's remote work initiative. They've converted several guest rooms into offices for remote workers to utilize. These converted offices are completely complimentary, available through spring, and are designed for the purpose of promoting remote working and learning in a safe environment.
The onsite restaurant, Tickets Bar & Grille, has several igloos available that are first-come, first-served.
The igloos do have a $150 minimum on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays after 4 p.m. -- but with all the tasty food and tempting beverages on the menu, that will be easy to reach, especially if you have four people.
