My childhood home had the most magnificent apple trees. When the apples started to drop, we’d grab them off of the ground and fill up our buckets. But, nothing compared to that first bite with the juices running down our chins; it was simply heavenly. While those days have simply melted into memories, we have plenty of opportunities in Pennsylvania to pick fruits – particularly berries – along its many trails. This wild blueberry trail in Petersburg, Pennsylvania is particularly popular for exploring and picking berries.
