The spooky season has officially arrived, capping off with an evening of Trick or Treating on Halloween. In the weeks leading up to the big day, we can find an abundance of fun activities for the whole family, no matter where we live in PA. West Chester Railroad in Pennsylvania, for example, is hosting a family-friendly Trick or Treat Train for four days only this October.
If you don't already know who or what you're dressing up as this Halloween, you'll probably want to decide soon - or at least before you climb aboard The Trick or Treat Special with West Chester Railroad.
While costumes aren't required, they certainly will add a bit more fun to the Halloween adventure. The Trick or Treat Special runs October 17, 18, 24, and 25, 2020.
Sit back and watch the fall foliage as the train meanders along the tracks, heading toward the Glen Mills Station. Bring your camera so you can snap photos of your adventure!
Once at the station, you can get off of the train for a bit of exploration. The stop in Glen Mills will last for 20 minutes before the train takes you back to the West Chester station.
A popular annual event, the Trick or Treat Special will have a few changes this year, due to the ongoing pandemic. Train capacity, for example, will be limited to allow guests to socially distance.
All guests who are older than 10 must wear a mask or a face shield, and tickets must be purchased online. Tickets will not be sold at the train station.
